抄食譜. 然後半夜三更走去煮.
copy down recipes, and cook them in the middle of the night.
昨晚整了糯米糕.
i made sticky rice cakes last night.

現在在ebay看看有沒有抵買的.
好興奮, 大概１０﹣２０英磅就買到.
(連郵費添！) 七十年代的最有味道
有寫字樓的感覺. 答答答 答答 ...

looking through ebay to get a bargain.
probably can get one at about 10-20 quid, so excited!
thinking of getting a 70's style, an olive green one would be ideal.
the sound it makes remind me of an office, dadada dada ...








最後這個好漂亮, 但在遙遠的阿美喱架.
the last one's really nice, but it's all the way at the States.


我跟你說, 打字機打的字真的是另些不同.
to be very honest with you, the types are absolutely exceptional from a typewriter.
打字的力度可以調節字體的明顯度, 非一般的體驗.
different strength gives the fonts unconditional clearness, wicked isn't it.





決定了. 我要.

茅塞好快點兒開 之一



last night i was just spacing out the whole time.
there were no imagery in my head,
therefore i am stuck at working on my typography brief.
this is what i do when i need to chill out.

昨晚完全不在狀態 整晚都在發呆
腦袋裡丁點兒圖像也沒有.
排版功課還沒碰過 這趟真斃家火
最後鑽進廚房偷閒一番 吃點甜的.

This morning
before i dressed up
i looked through a few fashion magazines
and was thinking, even though i dressed up nicely,
i still won't be as pretty as the models (who are so tall and skinny).

i let out a big sigh
and put on my dress.

then
i went down the stairs
walked on the street

when i walked past a bus stop
a person who sat on the bench said to me (in an accent)
'you look beautiful.'

in return i said thank you
and the smile i had on my face
last for the whole day.

i found this out while doing my typography research.

i have a lot of insights, neither good nor bad, cause they confuse me even more.
for a moment i was just staring at the space between me and friend of mine,
that was my understanding, after all these years.

at that point, i fail to blame you.
it isn't forgiveness, but that was, at least, understanding.



it feels like thin air.
a suffocating relief.

There's a myth on wearing different socks.
According to an athlete friend of mine,
he says one runs faster in nonidentical socks.

Style.

This is weird.
i was browsing through style/clicker
and i saw this guy.




and i remember seeing him when i was at Stockholm.
He is the staff from the shop, which i got a hilarious illustration book.
there is this image of the shop in my head, nice looking wooden floors, carefully arranged displays and i remember the songs they play were kinda cool.
it sells very expensive but very nice clothes.

if i can recall all these,
that means they succeeded in giving a good impression.
their staffs' style imprint on my mind, how cool is that!
( i have a feeling that he is the owner.)

anyway, i miss Stockholm.

Off to bed.
